  2. Dvdacmn is correct. This (the thermostat setup) must be in the instructions booklet. Anyway, if you have a typical oven (heat pumps are another story), terminal W1 require heat for heating the first phase, which is all he have a gas furnace or oil. Set the thermostat calls for heat, then go to your heater and see if you have 24 volts to terminal W. (between B and C) If yes, then is the problem with the oven, not the t-stat . Note to manage the oven, there's probably a safety switch on the door of the compartment fan, who have all power in the oven when the door is removed to kill, hold on to power and defeat which makes control.
